Hi! I'm Chandni Arora!
I love that my name means moonlight (in Hindi). If you're wondering how to say it, it's pronounced exactly the way it's spelt - Chandni. I have heard so many different versions of it over the years and by far the funniest was being called Champagne all day.
I am a coffee-drinking, fun-loving mum of 2 kids in junior school, and a fur baby. I love to celebrate everything as I believe life is too short not to. I love buying and receiving gifts all the same. I don’t enjoy cooking much; however, I do love to eat and experiment with new cuisines and foods. If there’s a new local restaurant and a babysitter available, you'll find me there trying it out. So, if you have any great recommendations for local restaurants (new or old) at the Sunshine Coast, send them my way.
Other than being a mum and a foodie, I'm an internationally certified Mindset coach and Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. I gained my coaching qualifications through Elizabeth Ann Walker Training and Coaching (EAWTC) and the Beautiful You Coaching Academy (BYCA). I am also a certified BYCA coach which was no mean feat to accomplish. I have over 19 years of experience in HR and the financial industry. I've held varying roles during my career ranging from learning and development to leadership and project management. You can find my more impressive corporate bio on LinkedIn.
Imagine having unwavering confidence and knowing your exact self-worth, boosting your self-esteem to knowing exactly who you are and what you’re capable of!
With my guidance this is what you can achieve.
I grew up in India and witnessed firsthand the suppression of women. At an early age I knew I wanted to support and empower women to be fiercely independent so they can take care of themselves and their families.
When I was only a teenager, I lost my mum and was devastated. Through this profound loss, I experienced the layers and depths of grief while navigating the challenges of life without a mum. That was until I did the work on myself to release the grief, guilt, anger and sadness I carried around with me for decades.
Soon after losing my mum, I made a decision to move to Australia to study. And while living on the university campus, I was surrounded by 100's of national and international students, which helped me to integrate into the Australian way of life. I was very privileged to have been exposed to this perfect mix of cultures.
When I became a mother for the first time, I had little to no family support around me, so I get the struggles of feeling alone and overwhelmed while raising little ones. I empathise deeply with the pain and challenges mums face, and I'm committed to guiding you towards a more empowered, joyful life.
These early experiences have helped to shape my deep desire to help women find their strength and voice and was my guiding factor in becoming a life coach. My unique cultural experience and personal journey through working on healing my own trauma makes me passionate about helping women live their best lives.
I am happily married to an Australian, and I always go for India in an India vs Australia cricket match (even though I’m not a huge follower of the sport) which triggers my husband a bit. I think it’s good to have a bit of fun competition in a relationship.
In Australia, I now call the Sunshine Coast home.
In my coaching practice, I am here to help you gain the clarity you are looking for and support with boosting your confidence. As stated by Maya Angelou, I believe “success is liking yourself, liking what you do and liking how you do it”. I absolutely love what I do, and I want you to experience that too.
I believe you need to work harder on yourself than on your career as investing in your self-growth and development will always pay off in more ways than one. Investing in yourself will make you happier and you will live a life you are passionate about, one that is more aligned to your purpose and values. If you are happy and content, this in turn benefits your family and especially your kids as they come home to a more fun, calm, present and healthy mum. I also believe your passion will shine through when you invest in yourself, which then gives your kids permission to follow their dreams too.
I believe I am here to remind you that you can follow your dreams to make the life change you are so longing for. I am here to let you know you will not have to do this alone. I will be there right beside you, cheering you on and celebrating your every win, big or small. I’m here to make you feel the most confident you have ever felt. I am here to guide you to create strategies that you can use for the rest of your life.
I am a strong believer in diversity, equality and inclusion. I will always ensure I create an equitable and inclusive coaching practice where people of all colours, races and backgrounds feel safe, secure and vulnerable to be who they are and act on their deepest desires to live a life they truly love; irrespective of how old and able they are, who they love, where they come from, how they dress or who they pray to.
I whole heartedly believe that community, trust, connection and collaboration are the key to living a happy soulful life.
